The end of beginning is where it starts

A tale so familiar shrinks life down to parts

A blanket invites, to take a snooze

The furniture of this world is built with booze

The sideway walkers, just so, on their side

The shakes pre-needle are post ‘losing pride’

6, untitled, dumped, and neglected by all

Go low, and the beauty of nature will always stand tall

The last 20 seconds have something to say

A knowing that it never has to end this way

I am greeted by a warm, healthy, friendly smile

In silence, a memory of when I too walked this mile
