The State we’re in, 2014

Conceived and produced as a boxed photobook, this work explores the current socio-political world in which we live. It addresses issues of control, surveillance and human rights abuses contrasting our drip-dripped (but now extensive) loss of freedoms with the sacrifices of our ancestors who died in their millions to protect them; many of which we have now squandered. This book was shortlisted for the inaugural RPS international  photobook prize and was exhibited at Fenton House, Bath, in November 2014.
